1. A method of individually adapting a slatted base to the anatomy and weight of the individual who is to be supported, characterised in that the pivotally-mounted slatted base to be adapted is arranged vertically immediately behind the individual who is standing on a platform, and is adapted to the size of the individual by means of vertical height adjustment, whereupon the individual slats of the slatted base are adjusted in terms of height and/or spring rigidity to the anatomy, in particular the curve of the spine, of the individual.

Zur individuellen Anpassung eines Lattenrostes an Anatomie und Gewicht einer aufzunehmenden Person ist erfindungsgemäß vorgesehen, daß unmittelbar hinter der auf einem Podest stehenden Person der anzupassende und schwenkbar gehalterte Lattenrost senkrecht aufgestellt, durch senkrechte Verschiebung in seiner Höhenlage der Größe der Person angepaßt und anschließend die einzelnen Latten des Lattenrostes in Höhenlage und/oder Federsteifigkeit auf die Anatomie, insbesondere die Wirbelsäulenkrümmung, der Person eingestellt werden.
