[origin: WO8602533A1] A hand implement (10) having an adjustable handle (14) which is selectively movable by operation of improved retention means (34, 40, 42) therefor to any of a variety of use positions, each of which corresponds to a handle position perpendicular to one of a plurality of abutment faces (20, 22, 24, 26, 28) in non-parallel planes, and a reversible tool head (16) in such a hand implement to selectively provide, for each handle position, either right hand or left hand tool orientation.

Un outil manuel (10) comprend une poignée ajustable sélectivement mobile par le déplacement d'un dispositif de retenue (34, 4O, 42) de façon à adopter des positions d'utilisation diverses dont chacune correspond à une position de la poignée perpendiculaire à une surface d'appui (20, 22, 24, 26, 28) parmi une pluralité de surfaces d'appui sur des plans non-parallèles. L'outil manuel comprend également une tête d'outil réversible (16) qui fournit sélectivement pour chaque position de la poignée une orientation appropriée pour des droitiers ou des gauchers.
