A device for making a firm but releasable connection between two parts movable relative to one another, which can advantageously be used especially as a suitcase lock, is described. An essential component of the device is a thin flexible band which possesses a lock bolt on one side in the region of a closing point and actuating elements on its other side in the region of an operating point. The flat band thus performs, among other things, the function of transmitting the movement of an actuating element to a lock bolt. In the closed state, the bolt device is preferably blocked by an electrical control. Clearance is obtained only when a numerical code preset via a coding switch is entered in a key pad. <IMAGE>

Es wird eine Vorrichtung zur Herstellung einer festen, jedoch lösbaren Verbindung zwischen zwei relativ zueinander bewegbaren Teilen beschrieben, die insbesondere als Kofferschloß vorteilhaft anwendbar ist. Ein wesentlicher Bestandteil der Vorrichtung ist ein dünnes, flexibles Band (12a), welches auf seiner einen Seite im Bereich einer Schließstelle (13a) einen Schließriegel (14a) und auf seiner anderen Seite im Bereich einer Bedienunsstelle (16) Betätigungselemente (17a) aufweist. Das flache Band übernimmt somit u.a. die Funktion, die Bewegung eines Betätigungselementes auf einen Schließriegel zu übertragen. Im Schließzustand ist die Riegelvorrichtung vorzugsweise von einer elektrischen Steuerung blockiert. Eine Freigabe erfolgt nur, wenn ein über Codierschalter voreingestellter Zahlencode in ein Tastenfeld eingegeben wird.
