1. A process for bonding insulated wires (2, 24, 34) to contacts (1, 25, 35) by ultrasonic welding, particularly for use with electronic components, characterised in that in the case of lacquer-insulated wires (2, 24, 34) less than 0.4 mm and in particular less than 100 mu m in diameter ultrasonic welding of the wire to the contact (1, 25, 35) is first performed in one step to break up the insulating layer and deform the cross-section (26, 36), and that the joint area is then enclosed by a drop (4, 27, 37) of a rapidly hardening organic or inorganic adhesive.

Die Kontaktierung von lackisolierten Drähten auf metallischen Unterlagen kann vorteilhafterweise durch Ultraschallschweißen erfolgen. Problematisch ist dabei bei dünnen Drähten, daß durch die Verformung die Festigkeit herabgesetzt wird und ein Abscheren erfolgen kann. Gemäß der Erfindung wird der Draht durch Ultraschalleinwirkung unter Aufbrechen der Isolierschicht verformt und auf die Unterlage aufgeschweißt und anschließend der gesamte Verformungsbereich mit einem Tropfen eines organischen oder anorganischen Klebemittels umhüllt. Das Verfahren ist insbesondere für sogenannte HF-Drossel-Chips (20), die als Kontaktelemente Anschlußfahnen (25) aufweisen, vorgesehen, aber auch bei HF-Drosseln (30) mit Anschlußdrähten (35) vorteilhaft anwendbar.
