Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0200577A2] 1. Electrically lockable lock, in particular for a motor vehicle, consisting, on the one hand, of a member (1, 101) capable of ensuring electrically and mechanically the fastening and release of the bolt/keeper assembly associated with a door separating the interior of an enclosure from the exterior, the said member comprising an actuating element (2) displaceable from one to another of three positions P1 , P2 , P3 , which correspond respectively to opening, closure without locking and closure with locking of the door, and, on the other hand, of a mechanism which can be actuated by, at least, one manual operating means (13 to 16, 113 to 116) ensuring displacement of the actuating element from one to another of its three positions, either electrically or mechanically, the manual operating means comprising a rotating barrel, characterized in that the manual operating means comprise moreover a push button (16, 116) which can be actuated from the exterior, the barrel being able, owing to the action of a key (15, 115), to turn, between two positions, a finger (22, 122) arranged between the two arms (9_a-9_b, 109_a-109_b) of a fork, the said fork constituting one of the ends of a locking lever (5, 105) pivoting about a fixed axis (7, 107), the other end of which has a stud (10, 110) sliding in the groove (11, 111) of an opening lever (6, 106) pivoting about a fixed axis (8, 108), the said opening lever cooperating via one of its ends with the actuating element and via its other end with the push button (16, 116), cooperation between the actuating element and the opening lever (6, 106) being effected by means of a window (12, 112), which allows displacement of one relative to the other and enables, without moving the opening lever, the actuating element to be displaced from P1 to P2 or vice versa, the locking lever (5, 105) being able to pivot owing to the action of the barrel finger (22, 122) between two end positions, the first one of which corresponds, for the actuating element, to the position P3 and the second one of which allows the actuating element to assume, owing to the displacement inside the window (12, 112) of the opening lever (6, 106), the positions P1 or P2 , the locking lever (5, 105) being associated with a first electrical contactor (23, 123) which prevents electrical energization of the lock by the push button or the external blade (16) when the said lever is in its first position and permits it when this is not the case, the push button (16, 116) being associated with a second electrical contactor (18, 118) which allows energization of the lock when an operating action is performed by the user in order to bring the actuating element into the position P1 and prohibits it when this action is not performed.
