Abstract (en)
The loop taker comprises a receptacle (17) housed in a rotating bowl with an uninterrupted edge (11). The hook (15) for capturing the loop of the needle thread is located on the inside of the bowl and has a notch (14) through which the thread is pulled in order to pass around the receptacle (17) containing a bobbin (32) for the lower thread. Two independent escapement levers (19 and 20) are alternately displaced by cams provided on the circumference of the bowl (3). This makes it possible for the needle thread to pass around the receptacle, while keeping the receptacle stationary. <IMAGE>

Le capteur de boucle à crochet rotatif comprend une capsule (17) logée dans une cuvette rotative dont le bord (11) est ininterrompu. Le crochet (15) pour saisir la boucle du fil d'aiguille est disposé vers l'intérieur de la cuvette et présente une encoche (14) par laquelle le fil est entraîné pour passer autour de la capsule (17) contenant une canette (32) pour le fil inférieur. Deux leviers d'échappement (19 et 20) indépendants l'un de l'autre sont déplacés alternativement par des cames prévues sur le pourtour de la cuvette (3) et permettent ainsi au fil d'aiguille de faire le tour de la capsule, tout en maintenant cette dernière immobile.
