[origin: US4693911A] There is described a method for lining the one surface from a base with a continuous granulate layer, which comprises relieving the granulates from foreign materials, raising said granulates to a higher level than said base, spreading said granulates to form said layer, coating the granulates during the fall thereof with a material causing same to adhere to said base, moving the fall location relative to said base along a direction in parallel relationship with the one base side, at a pre-determined speed, and letting said material coating the granulates laid down on the base, harden.

Procédé de revêtement d'une face (1) d'un support (2) par une couche (3) continue de granulats, qui consiste à débarrasser les granulats des matières étrangères, à amener ceux-ci à un niveau supérieur (6) à celui du support (2), à les répartir pour former la couche (3), à les enduire, pendant leur chute, d'un matériau qui les fait adhérer au support, a déplacer l'endroit de chute (9), par rapport au support (2), suivant une direction parallèle à l'un des côtés de ce dernier, à une vitesse prédéterminée et à laisser durcir le matériau enrobant les granulats posés sur le support.
