A vacuum cleaner nozzle which, relative to the working direction, is provided at least at its front side with a rigid working bar (5) bounding the suction passage (9) of the nozzle (1) of which the bearing edge adjacent to the area to be cleaned is formed as a point (10), characterised in that the working bar (5) is arranged so that it can tilt and has a flat part adjoining and angled to the point (10) and pointing outwardly relative to the suction passage (9), the angle (alpha) between the tangent (14) to the centre line (13) of the point (10) and the centre line (15) of the flat part of the working bar (5 or 6) being an obtuse angle in the range from 110 degrees to 160 degrees.
