Ein Tragkreuz (9) für eine Trommelwaschmaschine hat sternförmig angeordnete Tragarme (10-13), mit denen die Trommel am Laugenbehälter (5) gelagert ist. Zwei einander benachbarte Arme (12, 13) des Tragkreuzes (9) sind über einen plattenartigen, peripher zum Laugenbehälter angeordneten Halter (19) miteinander verbunden, an dem der Antriebsmotor (8) befestigt ist.
