1. Method for marking a piece of cloth, enabling the identification of pieces of cloth, in particular the identification of items such as, for example, overalls, sheets, etc, during cleaning, laundering, dyeing or similar operations and/or the production process in an installation for finishing this cloth, in which to at least one side of the cloth there is attached at least one label bearing a mark, characterized in that this label (10) is made by inserting a previously marked component (12) between two films (14, 15) made of a thermofusible substance, and in that the upper film (15) is covered with a transparent protective sheet (16') made of a material inert to the treatments which the cloth has to undergo.

La présente invention concerne un procédé de marquage d'une pièce de tissu permettant le repérage de pièces de tissu et/ou le suivi de production d'une installation d'ennoblissement de ce tissu. Le dispositif pour la mise en oeuvre de ce procédé comporte essentiellement un bâti fixe (20), une presse mobile (31) et des moyens pour amener simultanément entre ces deux éléments la bande de tissu (11), un film inférieur thermofusible (17), un film supérieur thermofusible (14), un élément marqué (12) et un composé préassemblé (33) comportant un film thermofusible (15), une fenêtre de protection (16) inerte aux traitements subis par le tissu. Ce dispositif est utilisé dans les installations d'ennoblissement de tissus.
