[origin: WO8602178A1] A cutting and framing device for cutting a film section (9), in which the latter can be lowered into a slide frame (10) that is located under a cutting machine (5) and is lying ready in a drawer (7), and can be inserted into the slide (10) when the drawer (7) is pulled out, by application against a guide plate (2a). The drawer (7) has a component (12) which can be slid, in the shape of a U-shaped spring-loaded clamp, and passes round the rear part of the drawer (7). The component (12) possesses, in the sliding direction of the drawer (7), guide elements (12b) which are in the form of projections pointing diagonally upwards, by means of which, when the drawer (7) is partly withdrawn the rear edge grips a curved film section (9) and is diverted into the groove-shaped recess in the rear transverse piece (10b) of the slide frame (10). When the drawer (7) is pushed in, the rear transverse piece (10b) of the slide frame (10) is gripped with a component (12) located in the first position, applied by the spring action; when the drawer (7) is pulled out, the rear transverse piece (10b) of the slide frame (10) is released in a second position of the component (12).
