[origin: US4691720A] An appliance for partially dyeing the hair consists of a comb-like part (1), a handle part (2) connected thereto and a dye applicator device (3). In order to give the appliance a simple construction and to conform it so that it operates without faults and is particularly easy to use, the dye applicator device is constructed as a brush device (4) which is movable relative to the comb part (1) between a dye collecting position, in which the bristles (6) point away from the comb part (1), and a dye dispensing position, in which the bristles (6) are in contact with the comb teeth (15). The brush device (4) is pivotable about an axis oriented approximately parallel to the comb part (1), and can be actuated by use of a pivot lever (13).

Ein Gerät zum partiellen Einfärben von Haaren besteht aus einem kammartigen Teil (1), einem mit diesem verbundenen Handgriffteil (2) sowie einer Farbauftrageinrichtung (3). Um dem Gerät einen einfachen Aufbau zu geben und es so zu gestalten, daß es ohne Störungen arbeitet und insbesondere leicht zu bedienen ist, ist die Farbauftrageinrichtung als Bürstenvorrichtung (4) ausgebildet, die relativ zu dem Kammteil (1) zwischen einer Farbaufnahmestellung, in der die Borsten (6) von dem Kammteil (1) weg weisen, und einer Farbabgabestellung, in der die Borsten (6) an den Kammzinken (15) anliegen, beweglich ist. Die Bürstenvorrichtung (4) ist um eine etwa parallel zu dem Kammteil (1) verlaufende Achse drehbar und kann mit Hilfe eines Drehhebels (13) betätigt werden.
