[origin: US4776498A] The thrust piston pump of a delivery apparatus for liquid media and the like is provided with a valve arrangement in the suction passage. The valve arrangement has two valve seats acting in opposing manner and is associated with a single common valve body. This permits a rapid transfer of the valve body into the closed position engaging on the valve seat, particularly during operation in an inverted position. In addition, the discharge passage has a mechanically openable discharge valve which can be simply opened by displacing the actuating head of the pump with respect to a collar of the pump piston.

Die Schubkolben-Pumpe (4) einer Ausgabeeinrichtung für Medien weist im Ansaugkanal (32) eine Ventilanordnung (22) auf, die zwei gegensinnig wirksame Ventilsitze (25,26) hat, denen ein einziger gemeinsamer Ventilkörper (27) zugeordnet ist. Dadurch ist insbesondere bei Betrieb in Kopflage ein schnelles Überführen des Ventilkörpers (27) in die am Ventilsitz (25) anliegende Schließlage gewährleistet. Außerdem ist im Auslaßkanal (35) ein mechanisch zu öffnendes Auslaßventil (36) vorgesehen, das durch Verschieben des Betätigungskopfes (7) der Pumpe (4) gegenüber einer Kolbenmanschette (34) des Pumpkolbens (17) auf einfache Weise geöffnet werden kann.
