1. Fitting for a leaf (3) of a window, of a door or the like, which by means of leaf-opening arms (5 to 8) is displaceable at least into a parallel-open position, there being mounted at the closure end of the lower leaf-opening arm (7) a control arm (19), of which the free end is articulated on a carriage (9), characterised in that the end of the or of a further carriage (10) wich is on the opening side, particularly in the region of the push-open position of the leaf (3), co-operates with a buffer (28) mounted on the lower horizontal rail (26) of the fixed frame (1), and in that substantially at the end of the leaf (3) which is towards the opening, there is articulated one end of a stiffening arm (31) the other end of which is rotatably mounted on the lower leaf-opening arm (8) which is towards the opening, a rotary joint being at the same time constructed as a sliding joint and in that the stiffening arm (31), in the parallel-open position of the leaf (3), limits the rotary opening movement of its leaf-opening arm (8).

Um den parallelabstellbaren und in dieser Lage verschiebbaren Flügel (3) eines Fensters oder einer Tür in der Schiebe-Öffnungsstellung oder eine vorbestimmten Zwischenstellung abstoppen zu können und dabei eine ungünstige Belastung des Beschlags zu vermeiden, befindet sich am unteren horizontalen Holm (26) des festen Rahmens (1) ein Puffer (28) an welchem das öffnungsseitige Ende eines Laufwagens, oder im Falle von mehreren Laufwagen des öffnungsseitigen Laufwagens (10), auftrifft. Außerdem ist der Flügel (3) an seinem öffnungsseitigen Ende mit dem Laufwagen (10) nicht nur über den Ausstellarm (8) sondern über einen zusätzlich angebrachten Versteifungsarm (31) verbunden. Sein eines Ende ist drehbar mit dem Flügel (3) gekoppelt, während sein anderes Ende insbesondere im mittleren Bereich des unteren öffnungsseitigen Ausstellarms (8) angelenkt ist. Eine dieser Verbindungen ist zugleich eine Schiebeverbindung. Vorteilhafterweise befindet sich die Dreh-Schiebe-Verbindung am Ausstellarm (8). Sie besteht aus einem Zapfen des Ausstellarms (8) und einem Langloch des Versteifungsarms (31).
