Clipping machine for veneer stracks - with a framework (1, 2, 3, 4) in which a clipping table (5) and above it sa vertically movable compression beam (11) its secured, - with two parallel, vertically movable longitudinal blades (8, 14), of which one is guided by a longitudinal side of the compression beam and the other is guided in horizontal direction by opposite longitudinal side of the clipping table, the cutting with being ajustable by the horizontal displacement of one blade, characterized by - a stationary clipping table (5) - a compression beam (11) wich can be moved horizontally and transversely together with the upper blade (14), - and a coveying device (22, 23) conveying in the longitudinal direction for the veneer stacks between table (5) and compression beam (11).
