[origin: US4738543A] The invention is concerned with a device for the mixing and dispersion of at least two media, the device consisting of a substantially tubular stator (4) with at least one substantially axial inlet (12) and a substantially axial discharge (15) for the media and a rotor (2) with several radially extending rotor blades (5), the rotor being arranged in the stator (4), coaxially to it, between the inlet (12) and the discharge (15). In order that a partial stream of the media, which are at least premixed, be dispersed reliably, the stator (4) has radial openings (16) in the region of the rotor (2).
