1. A system ensuring the ventilation and respiratory protection of the users of vehicles intended to operate in a contaminated environment, the vehicles being equipped with an onboard generator (7) adapted to deliver a respiratory gaseous mixture, and the users being provided with a filtering and/or isolating overall and a head protection outfit (6) comprising, in particular, an integrated window (62), and the users breathing by virtue of a mask (61), characterized in that it comprises a member (P40) for detachably connecting the system to the onboard generator (7), a first series of elements constituted by means (11) for the purification of the gaseous mixture output by the on-board generator when being connected thereto, and for the purification of ambiant air when not being connected to the on-board generator, so as to deliver a purified respiratory gas, means (14, S11, 44, 52) for directing the purified gas towards the respiratory mask (61), means (12, 13) for the purification and pressurization of the ambient air prior to directing the same to the inside of the head protection space (6), a second series of elements comprising at least one pipe (441) intended to direct the mixture output by the onboard generator, when it is connected, directly towards the mask (61), and a control member (410) for putting into operation, on the one hand, exclusively the first series of elements as well as for closing said pipe (441) of the second series, when the ambient environment is contaminated, and for putting, on the other hand, the second series in operation and for putting out of operation, in this case, the purification means (11) for the respiratory gas together with the pressurization means (12, 13), when the ambient environment is not contaminated.

L'invention est relative à un système de ventilation et de protection respiratoire d'utilisateurs de véhicules susceptibles d'évoluer dans un milieu contaminé, lesidts véhicules possédant un générateur de bord (7) fournissant un mélange gazeux respiratoire, et lesdits utilisateurs étant munis d'une combinaison filtrante et/ou isolante, et d'un ensemble (6) de protection de tête comportant notamment une visière (62) totale, et respirant grâce à un masque (61). Le système de l'invention est caractérisé en ce qu'il possède des moyens (11, 14) pour épurer le mélange issu du générateur de bord (7) et/ou l'air ambiant et des moyens (12, 13) pour épurer et surpresser l'air ambiant avant de le diriger vers l'ensemble (6) de protection de tête, lorsque le milieu ambiant est contaminé.
