[origin: US4750897A] The contact apparatus has at least two contact bodies and at least one segmented body. The latter possesses bars separated from each other by slots and having a curved central area. Furthermore, the bars have the form of a three-dimensional curve. In their end areas, the bars possess in each case a section curved in the opposite sense to said curved central area. Besides, the bars are linked together at their ends by means of edge strips. Moreover, the slots extend up to the curved section. In this way, points of contact clearly defined as regards their position and values are assigned to the convexity as well as the end areas of each bar. These measures lead to an improvement of the mechanical and electrical characteristics of the contact apparatus.

Die Kontaktvorrichtung weist mindestens zwei Kontaktkörper und mindestens einen Lamellenkörper (1a) auf. Der Lamellenkörper (1a) besitzt durch Schlitze (8a-8e) getrennte Lamellen (7a-7f) mit einem bogenartig geformten Mittelbereich, die als räumliche Kurven ausgebildet sind. Diese Lamellen (7a-7f) weisen in ihren Endbereichen einen gegensinnig zu dem bogenartig geformten Mittelbereich gekrümmten Abschnitt (6) auf. An ihren Enden sind die Lamellen (7a-7f) überdies durch Randstreifen (4,5) miteinander verbunden. Ferner erstrecken sich die Schlitze (8a-8e) in den gekrümmten Abschnitt (6) hinein. Dadurch werden jeder Lamelle(7a-7f) in örtlicher und wertmässiger Hinsicht eindeutig definierte Kontaktstellen sowohl auf der Wölbung der Lamellen (7a-7f) als auch in deren Endbereichen zugeordnet. Diese Massnahmen haben eine Verbesserung der mechanischen und elektrischen Eigenschaften der Kontaktvorrichtung zur Folge.
