1. A blow tunnel for drying lacquered workpieces, especially motor vehicle bodies, composed of a conveyor device for transporting the workpieces through the blow tunnel and of a plurality of radiation elements and blow nozzles which are arranged on the tunnel walls and/or ceilings, are connected to an air conveying system and blow air on to the workpieces to be dried, the blow tunnel being divided into two zones, characterized in that, in the first zone, considered in the direction of passage of the workpieces, radiation elements (5) and blow nozzles (6) are arranged in alternatively staggered manner and, in the adjoining second zone (3), only blow nozzles (6) are arranged.

Vorliegende Erfindung beschäftigt sich mit einem Blastunnel (1) zum Trocknen von lackierten Werkstücken. Werden zum Lackieren Lacke mit schwerverdunstbaren Lösungsmitteln, beispielsweise Wasser, verwendet, so ist gegenüber konventionellen Lacken entweder mit einer längeren Trocknungsstrecke oder längerem Verweilen in dem Blastunnel zu rechnen. Um hierbei auf gleiche Zeitwerte wie bisher zu gelangen, wird der erfindungsgemäße Blastunnel (1) in zwei Zonen (2,3) unterteilt, wobei die erste Zone (2) abwechselnd Strahler (5) und Blasdüsen (6) und die zweite Zone nur Blasdüsen (6) aufweist.
