[origin: EP0204069A2] In a central door-locking system for motor vehicles with actuating units arranged on the doors, the motors of the actuating units are supplied with voltage either via a first line or via a second line. In each actuating unit, the motor can be connected to the first line via a first switch and diode and to the second line via a second switch and diode. One of the switches is opened when a particular end position (locked, unlocked) is reached. The central door-locking system according to the invention is of simple construction and therefore extremely reliable. Moreover, it can be operated from a plurality of points, without faults occurring. <IMAGE>
