Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0204278A2] 1. A drainage channel having a covering grating covering a channel member, having supporting and guiding surfaces arranged parallel in the longitudinal direction at both sides on the covering grating, and a base which comprises diametrically opposed supporting and guiding surfaces, characterised in that one supporting surface (6) and one guiding surface (11) at the one longitudinal side (4) of the covering grating meet at an acute angle (beta) and one supporting surface (7) and one guiding surface (12) at the other longitudinal side (5) meet at an obtuse angle (alpha), while the acute angle (beta) engages in a dovetail-like manner in the base (23, 35) of the covering grating (1) and the sum of the two angles amounts to about 180 degrees, and the angle formed by the supporting surface (6', 7') and guiding surface (11', 12') of the base at the same longitudinal side of the base (23, 34, 35) changes from acute to obtuse or vice versa after a distance corresponding to the length of the covering grating (1).
