Abstract (en)
[origin: WO8602979A1] The device comprises a tensioned wire (16, 64) which elastically closes a valve (18) which opens outwardly. The prestress tension of the wire (16, 64) depends on the current of an electric circuit (52) which flows across an electric resistent element (16, 82) incorporated in the fuel injection nozzle. The resistent element may be comprised of the wire (16) itself or of the coil (82) of an electromagnet (70) of which the armature (68) is coupled with the tension wire (64). Thus, the opening pressure (pö) of the fuel injection nozzle and its operation may be easily controlled and follow a predetermined law.
