[origin: EP0205113A2] The mixer has a mixing container which is arranged in a basic frame and along the inside walls of which a rotatably driven mixing helix runs, the drive of the latter being arranged on a container cover, which closes off the mixing container at the top and is detachably connected to it. In order to be able to clean the mixing container easily and to be able to inspect the mixed product easily, it is provided that the container cover is fastened in the basic frame and is connected to the mixing container by means of quick-acting closure elements and that the mixing container is arranged in the basic frame vertically adjustably by means of a lifting device. For visual inspection of the content of the mixing container and for cleaning, it is then simply detached from the container cover and lowered in the basic frame by means of the lifting device. <IMAGE>
