Method which comprises the following steps: - direct assembly of the frame elements (2) fixed radially on to a hub (3) integral, via an articulation with two degress of freedom, with a support base, - assembly into a slot (223) provided in a section (22) of a first type, constituting the upper element of each frame element (2) and defining the generatrix for the solid of revolution, of a section (111) of a second type in which is nipped one of the edges of a sector (1A) of the surface of revolution; - assembly of a second section (11b) of the second type in the same slot (223), this section holding one edge of the adjacent surface sector (1B); - insertion of a fixing wedge; - repetition of the operations until the surface (1) constituting the reflector of the antenna is obtained. <IMAGE>
