[origin: US4714052A] An industrial gas operated liquid heater is provided comprising a tubular hearth or furnace a front end face of which is provided with a gas burner and a heat exchanger in which the liquid to be heated and the combustion fumes flow concurrently, the exchanger forming with said tubular hearth a unitary monobloc assembly so designed that the liquid to be heated forms, a first liquid sheet enclosing substantially the whole of the tubular hearth, except for said front end face receiving the gas burner and, in the exchanger, a plurality of second liquid sheets extending substantially parallel to the longitudinal direction of the tubular hearth and adjacent, in said exchanger, to chambers through which flow the combustion fumes issuing from the tubular hearth.

II comprend un tube foyer (10) dont une face d'extrémité frontale est munie d'un brûleur à gaz (25) et un échangeur de chaleur (11) dans lequel peuvent circuler concurremment le liquide à chauffer et les fumées de combustion, l'échangeur formant avec ledit tube foyer un ensemble unitaire monobloc agencé de manière telle que le liquide à chaufferforme, d'une part, une première lame liquide enfermant la quasi-totalité du tube foyer, à l'exception de la face frontale d'extrémité recevant le brûleur à gaz et, d'autre part, dans l'échangeur, une pluralité de secondes lames liquides s'étendant sensiblement parallèlement à la direction longitudinale du tube foyer et adjacentes, dans ledit échangeur, à des chambres (40) de circulation des fumées de combustion issues du tube foyer (10).Application : Industrie textile (teinture), alimentaire, pharmaceutique, etc ...
