Abstract (en)
An American football type board game has a game board (82) marked to simulate a football field, a game piece (84) representing a football to be moved along the game board and a plurality of selection means for denoting different plays and referee functions, one of the selection means having at least eight facets. Multi-sided scrimmage dice (34, 36, 38, 40, 42) have indicia thereon denoting rushing yards and passing yards, a plurality of kicking random selective devices (2, 35, 47, 52, 58) are provided for use in kicking situations and a set of rushing penalty cards (14, 16, 18, 20) are also provided for use upon selection of a penalty facet on the random selection means.
