Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0205722A1] 1. Means for mounting a radiator on the base, in particular a radiator with flat elements joined to one another, this device consisting of four parts : a first upper part (2) to be supported on the upper part (1a) of a radiator element (1) and equipped with an opening (5) for the second intermediate part (6) to pass through, a long straight screw or bolt, of length at least equal to the height of one of the elements (1) of the radiator to be fixed, threaded at its lower extremity (6b), and fitted at its upper extremity (6a) either with a bolt head or with a threaded extremity and a nut, resting on the top (4) of the first upper part, bringing it as far downwards as possible, a third lower part (8), consisting of a means of anchoring in the ground, comprising a portion fitted with a threaded hole in which is engaged the threaded lower extremity (6b) of the screw or bolt, a fourth part (14) constituing one or more feet on which the elements (1) of the radiator stand, characterized by the fact that the first upper part (2) consists of a cubic or rectangular hollow strap-iron of generally angular shape with four sides, of which one vertical wall (3) is lifted and bent back to form a hook (3a) which can grip on the ridge (1a) of a radiator element, and of which the upper horizontal wall (4) is provided with said opening for passage (5), so that the fourth part (14) is not directly connected to any of the three other parts, but is placed between the radiator and the ground, so that the screwing of the second intermediate part (6) into the third lower part makes it possible to grip the radiator and the fourth part on which the radiator rests between the ground and the first upper part.
