[origin: EP0205832A2] The snowplough has a ploughshare (2) supported on a carrier structure (4) which is fastened to a pushing vehicle (3) via a mounting structure (28) and which is equipped with vertically adjustable running rollers (5) for adjusting the height of the ploughshare (2). The ploughshare (2) arranged obliquely relative to the direction of travel has a snow deflector (19) on the rear side (10) of the plough. This deflector has a pivoting shield (20) which is pivotable from a neutral position located outside the snow jet flowing off during the clearing operation into an operating position in which the snow jet is deflected. By a remote actuation of the pushing vehicle (3), during snow clearing the accumulation of snow at specific points can be prevented, without the clearing mode having to be interrupted or changed. <IMAGE>
