[origin: US4673909A] The thermal cutout comprises a casing (1) in which at least a portion of casing (3) is of heat-conducting material, two terminals (5) carried by an electrically insulating plug (4) and an electrically conductive moving element (6) maintained in contact with each terminal (5) by a member (8) which is deformable under the action of heat and which is in turn in contact with the heat-conducting portion of casing (3). The cutout essentially comprises a translationally displaceable electrically insulating member (7) forming a separation between on the one hand the heat-deformable member (8) and on the other hand the terminals (5) and the electrically conductive element (6).

Le coupe-circuit thermique selon l'invention comporte un boîtier (1) comprenant au moins une partie de boîtier (3) conductrice de la chaleur, deux bornes (5) portées par un bouchon (4) électriquement isolant, et un élément mobile (6) conducteur de l'électricité maintenu en contact avec chacune des bornes (5) par une pièce (8) déformable par la chaleur, elle-même en contact avec la partie de boîtier (3), il est caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte un organe mobile (7) électriquement isolant disposé entre l'élément mobile (6) et la pièce (8) déformable par la chaleur, cet organe mobile (7) formant une séparation entre la pièce (8) déformable par la chaleur d'une part, et les bornes (5) et l'élément mobile (6) conducteur de l'électricité, d'autre part.
