Abstract (en)

1. An automatically functioning washing machine controlled by programming device, comprising a motor (12) such as a synchronous motor driving a shaft with cams keyed thereon for driving interrupting means in order to put various means of the washing machine into and out of circuit as a function of the angular setting of the cams, that is to say the time expiring from the start of the execution of program, and a second motor (30) to cause the shaft to rotate more rapidly in order to suppress or shorten certain phases of functioning, characterized in that the putting of the motor (30) into and out of circuit is controlled by the switches or interrupting means of the programming device, in that the wiring is such that the shortened or suppressed phases - in relation to a maximum program by putting the second motor (30) into circuit depend on the amount of washing.
