[origin: WO8700389A1] Wiper device intended to suppress electrostatic charges in a thin-band dielectric and particularly in a wound dielectric film. The device comprises at least two electrode-forming electric conductor rollers (4, 5) which are subjected to a potential differential by a low frequency high-voltage source. These rollers are parallel and come into transverse contact and each at the same level with a face of a thin band of dielectric (1) circulating therebetween. The invention is particularly applied to printers of the electrostatic type.
