[origin: US4752235A] An electrical connector in which securing of an insulating body to a protective housing is done by the deformation of an inserted piece. The electrical connector has a special configuration of the insulating body and housing due to the presence of bevels, which makes it possible, by deformation of a retention element, to obtain a rapid and effective assembly.

L'invention concerne les connecteurs électriques dont le scellement du corps isolant à l'enveloppe protectrice se fait par la déformation d'une pièce rapportée. Le connecteur électrique selon l'invention possède une configuration particulière du corps isolant (20) et de l'enveloppe (21) due à la présence de chanfreins (23, 24), ce qui permet, par la déformation d'un élément de rétention (25), d'obtenir un assemblage rapide et efficace.
