[origin: ES8706872A1] A method and installation for removing water from, drying and/or conditioning fibrous, porous or filament materials. A stream of gaseous fluid is caused to flow through an enclosure, by means of a plurality of flow means, so that it passes through the materials to be treated under reduced pressure and/or with over pressure, from the inside towards the outside of the materials, or vice versa, and a stream of water vapor is caused to pass through said materials so as to accelerate the removal of water at the beginning of drying and/or to rapidly raise the temperature of the treated materials and/or to spray said materials, if desired, during drying.

Procédé et installation pour l'essorage, le séchage eu/ou le conditionnement de matières fibreuses, poreuses ou en filaments. On fait circuler dans une enceinte (45), à l'aide d'un ou d'une pluralité de moyens de mise en mouvement (43,44), un courant de fluide gazeux de manière qu'il traverse les matières à traiter en dépression et/ou surpression, de l'intérieur vers l'extérieur desdites matières, ou vice-versa et on fait traverser lesdites matières par un courant de vapeur d'eau, afin d'accélérer l'essorage au début du séchage et/ou d'élever rapidement la température des matières traitées, et/ou de vaporiser, le cas échéant, lesdites matières en cours de séchage. Utilisation : traitement de matières textiles notamment sons forme d'écheveaux.
