L'invention concerne un véhicule guidé essieux orientables Selon l'invention, le point d'attache (8) de la barre d'attelage (4) sur la caisse (1) est sensiblement disposé sur l'axe de roulis de véhicule. Par ailleurs, chaque essieu non moteur comporte des roues indépendantes et un dispositif de limitation du glissement entre les roues, ledit glissement étant de préférence limité à 5%. L'invention s'applique en particulier aux véhicules ferroviaires circulant sur des voies présentant des courbes importantes.
