Abstract (en)
The button cover has a metallic circular cap (1) which fits over the button. Its outer face (2) has a cylindrical cavity in which a decorative disc (3) is fixed. The bottom of the outer edge of the cap (4) has a peripheral groove (5) with a gap (11) in it. A spring (7) has two arms, whose extremities are bent towards each other and are introduced into two holes in the groove. The arms are joined by a loop that is inserted in the gap in the groove and goes round the thread fixing the button.

Cache-bouton à ressort comprenant une capsule (1) de réception du bouton, dont la face extérieure (2) est destinée à porter un élément ornemental (3) et dans la base du bord extérieur (4) de laquelle est ménagée une gorge périphérique (5) et comportant une interruption (11) destinée à recevoir, avec un léger forcement élastique, les deux bras (6) d'un ressort (7) filiforme dont les extrémités (9) sont pliées en équerre l'une vers l'autre et introduites à rotation dans deux orifices (10) traversants correspondants de la gorge (5) et avec lesdits bras (6) réunis par une partie centrale en forme de boucle (8) apte à passer dans l'interruption (11) de la gorge (5) et destinée à enfourcher le fil du bouton cousu (12).
