[origin: EP0209841A2] To produce effect yarns, two multifilament threads are guided together through an air texturing jet. The effect thread is delivered into the air texturing jet by a delivery system (3) consisting of bevelled wheels. The bevelled wheels have an associated traversing means (1). Programmed operating sequences for the traversing means make it possible to vary the effect thread delivery speed and thereby determine the nature of the effects. <IMAGE>
