A method and a device for suppressing feedback phenomena which occur when microphones (1) are arranged in the vicinity of loudspeakers (8). The feedback phenomena are suppressed by the fact that the microphone output signal is put into two channels (3, 4), the signals are offset with respect to one another by preferably 180 DEG and are supplied to the loudspeakers (8), combined again in different intensity. By controlling the volume of the weaker signal, the tendency to feedback can be reduced without impairing the voice or music transmission. <IMAGE>

Ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zur Unterdrückung von Rückkopplungserscheinungen, die auftreten, wenn Mikrofone (1) in der Nähe von Lautsprechern (8) angeordnet sind. Die Rückkopplungserscheinungen werden dadurch unterdrückt, daß das Mikrofonausgangssignal in zwei Kanäle (3, 4) gegeben wird, die Signale gegeneinander um vorzugsweise 180° versetzt und in unterschiedlicher Stärke wie vereinigt den Lautsprechern (8) zugeführt werden. Durch Regelung der Lautstärke des schwächeren Signals kann die Rückkopplungsneigung ohne Beeinträchtigung der Sprach- oder Musikübertragung vermindert werden.
