[origin: WO8607583A1] In this drive apparatus comprising two clamping devices (2 and 3) having each keys (2b and 3b) which alternately clamp a set of cables (5), and at least one hydraulic jack (4) connected to at least one of the two clamping devices for displacing it in the axial direction, each of the two clamping devices (2 and 3) comprises additionally an auxiliary jack (16 or 17) of which the cylinder is coaxially fixed to one of the ends of the tubular body (2a or 3a) of the clamping device and is provided with longitudinal passages (18) for the cables (5), the piston rod (21) of the auxiliary jack (16 or 17) being connected to the set of clamping members (2b or 3b) of the clamping device (2 or 3) by a coupling (23, 24) such that all the clamping members (2b or 3b) of said set are free to move in the radial direction but are simultaneously and axially displaced by the same amount by said piston rod (22) when the auxiliary jack (16 or 17) is actuated.
