Handling installation for ceramic products comprising a closed circuit 1 of carriages 2 passing through drying kilns 3 and firing kilns 4, an unstacking station 7 and a stacking station 6 combined with endless transverse belts, one 10 running from a charging with empty supports 13 to a stacking station 6 with charging 14 of the green products onto the supports, another 11 running from a station for taking off fired products 7 to a packaging station 29, and another 12 running from the taking up of empty supports 7 to a system 30 of storage and transfer which brings the empty supports back to the first belt 10. A first battery of grippers 21 operates between belt 10 and the location for stacking on carriages 22, a second battery, with two sets 26, 27, operates between belts 11 and 12 with intermediate stops on the unstacking station 43. Means 17, 19 ensure the closing up of supports for stacking and means 36, 37 their spacing for storage, transfer and charging onto the belt. <IMAGE>

Installation de manutention de produits céramiques comprenant un circuit fermé 1 de wagons 2 traversant fours de séchage 3 et de cuisson 4, poste de dépilage 7 et d'empilage 6 combiné avec des bandes sans fin transversales, l'une 10 allant d'un chargement de supports vides 13 à un poste d'empilage 6 avec chargements 14 des produits verts sur les supports, l'autre 11 allant d'un poste de prélèvement de produits cuits 7 à un poste de conditionnement 29, l'autre 12 allant du prélèvement des supports vides 7 à un système 30 de stockage et transfert qui ramène les supports vides à la première bande 10 ; une première batterie de pinces 21 opère entre bande 10 et emplacement d'empilage sur wagons 22, une seconde batterie, à deux ensembles 26, 27 opère entre bandes 11 et 12 avec arrêts intermédiaires sur le poste de dépilage 43; des moyens 17, 19 assurent le resserrement des supports pour l'empilage et des moyens 36, 37 leur écartement au stockage transfert et chargement sur bande.
