[origin: US4729178A] An antiwear and nonskid protective element for a shoe heel, which comprises an outside first part in which a through opening is made the surface of the cross section of which is greater on the side in contact with the heel of the shoe than on the side of its free end; and a second part comprising a head, whose shape and dimensions correspond approximately to those of said opening, and a rod provided with a rigid inside reinforcement, the rod being able to be driven with force into a hole made in the heel for the fastening of the element. Thus, an effective and reliable fastening of the element to the free end of the heel.

L'invention concerne un élément de protection anti-usure et anti-dérapant pour talon de chaussure, qui comprend une première partie extérieure (12) dans laquelle est formée une ouverture traversante (14) dont la surface de la section transversale est plus grande du côté du contact avec le talon (10) de la chaussure que du côté de son extrémité libre; et une seconde partie (16) comprenant une tête (16a), dont la forme et les dimensions correspondent sensiblement à celles de ladite ouverture, et une tige (16b) pourvue d'une armature intérieure rigide (18), la tige étant apte à être enfoncée à force dans un trou (10a) formé dans le talon pour la fixation de l'élément. On assure ainsi une fixation efficace et sûre de l'élément à l'extrémité libre du talon.
