[origin: WO8604945A1] A modular heat insulating panel (12, 14) includes a plurality of slabs (13, 15) of a composition including a lightweight heat insulating aggregate and a cementitious component. Means (16, 17, 18, 20, 24, 26) keys the slabs (13, 15) in an array in which the slabs together define a broadly planar front face (12a, 14a) and a broadly planar back face (12b, 14b) and in which the or each edge face (21, 23) of a slab which faces an adjacent slab includes a bend preventing a direct heat conductive path between said front and back faces over at least the major part of the respective edge face. Also disclosed is a generally planar structural element (13, 15) of cementitious material having keying means (16, 17, 18, 20, 24, 26, 50, 52) along a plurality of its edges for engaging a complementary panel in a tongue-and-groove configuration.

Un panneau modulaire d'isolation thermique (12, 14) comprend une pluralité de dalles (13, 15) d'une composition comprenant un agrégat léger d'isolation thermique et un composant cémenteux. Des moyens (16, 17, 18, 20, 24, 26) clavettent les dalles (13, 15) suivant une rangée où elles définissent ensemble une face frontale généralement plane (12a, 14a) et une face arrière généralement plane (12b, 14b), là ou chaque face de bordure (21, 23) d'une dalle faisant face à une dalle adjacente présente une courbure empêchant un passage direct de conduction de chaleur entre lesdites faces avant et arrière sur au moins la majeur partie de la face de bordure respective. Est également décrit un élément structural généralement plan (13, 15) en matériau cémenteux ayant des moyens de clavetage (16, 17, 18, 20, 24, 26, 50, 52) le long d'une pluralité de ses bords pour engager un panneau complémentaire dans une configuration à rainure et languette.
