[origin: WO8604946A1] In a building block of the kind which presents at one end thereof a recess (17) for accommodating the jointing material of a heading joint (16) the recess is so formed that a first wall portion (18) thereof creates a greater pressure drop in pipeable jointing material forced under pressure into the recess than the drop in pressure created by a second wall portion (19) of the recess.
