According to the invention, inflatable boats with continuous buoyancy tubes forming the boats' side are provided with auxiliary tubes of roughly crescent-shaped cross-sectional configuration attached to the underside of the buoyancy tubes. On the one hand, success is achieved in substantially improving the sailing properties of the inflatable boats, in particular in rough water, and, on the other hand, the special cross-sectional shape of the auxiliary tubes permits simplifications in production. <IMAGE>

Schlauchboote mit ihre Bordwand bildenden durchlaufenden Tragschläuchen sind erfindungsgemäß mit an der Unterseite der Tragschläuche angebrachten Zusatzschläuchen von etwa sichelartiger Querschnittsgestalt versehen. Es gelingt damit einmal, die Fahreigenschaften der Schlauchboote vor allem in Rauhwasser wesentlich zu verbessern, und zum anderen ermöglicht die besondere Querschnittsform der Zusatzschläuche fertigungstechnische Vereinfachungen.
