1. A container for receiving documents, wherein two container halves are adapted to limitedly swivel with respect to one another into a closed position and an open position about a horizontal hinge axis disposed in the base area, said container halves constituting shells with identical dimensions which when opened form an opening sector allowing access into the container, characterised in that in the upper region of their end face portions (11, 21) both container halves (1, 2) have projections (16, 26) which protrude in the manner of hooks over the surface of said portions, and locking members (14, 25) which limit the swivel of the container halves (1, 2) at least in the open position, in that one end face portion (21) of one container half (2) has a tab-like member (24) which protrudes in the plane of the end face portion (21) beyond the latter and slides between two vertical crosspieces (17, 17') of the other end face portion (11), and that the two container halves (1, 2) are completely identical parts.

Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Schriftgutbehälter mit zwei gelenkig miteinander verbundenen, schalenförmig ausgebildeten Hälften (1,2), die zusammen mit den zur Begrenzung einer Öffnungsstellung vorgesehenen Rastorganen (14,24) so ausgebildet sind, daß sie eine völlig gleiche Gestalt aufweisen und so mittels desselben Werkzeugs hergestellt werden können.
