[origin: EP0212347A1] 1. Letter punch including two components (1, 2) hingedly connected in the area of their longitudinal edges for the purpose of simultaneous punching of letters in two locations by way of two circular cylindrical cutters (12, 22) and co-acting templates (11, 21) whereby the two punch components (1, 2) are of identical shape, and each component comprises both a cut-out serving as template (11 or 21 respectively) and a circular cylindrical cutter (12 or 22 respectively) co-acting with the template (21 or 11 respectively) of the other component, characterised in that each punch component (1, 2) comprises two mounting flanges (13, 14; 23, 24) of which one has a mounting pin, and the other has a mounting eye to accommodate the mounting pin of the other punch component ; that each punch component (1, 2) is formed in one piece ; that a means for fixing the position (8, 19; 28, 29) relative to each other is formed onto the punch components (1, 2).
