[origin: US4727523A] A hand setting mechanism including a stem and a sliding pinion slaved to one another by means of a setting lever and a yoke. The sliding pinion is driven in rotation by means of a slit with which it is provided and which cooperates with two flattened surface borne on the stem. The sliding pinion is freely engaged in an orifice pierced in the base plate and is provided with a circular hole which serves as a bearing for a pivot at the end of the stem.

Le mécanisme de mise à l'heure comporte une tige (4) et un pignon coulant (5) asservis l'un à l'autre au moyen d'une tirette (12) et d'une bascule (24). Le pignon coulant est entraîné en rotation par une saignée (41) dont il est pourvu et qui coopère avec deux plats (27) portés par la tige. Le pignon coulant (5) est engagé librement dans un orifice (44) percé dans la platine et est pourvu d'un trou circulaire (29) qui sert de palier à un pivot (28) pratiqué à l'extrémité de la tige (4).
