Le wishbone selon l'invention est caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend un embout avant comportant une partie (1) sensiblement en forme de U dont le fond est destiné à être en appui sur le mât par l'extérieur du wishbone et dont les branches se resserrent sur le mât par réaction à l'étarquage du point d'écoute de la voile. Ainsi l'embout avant selon l'invention forme une tenaille autobloquante sur le mât. Voile.
