[origin: WO8604610A1] A solution comprising a chromogen or substrate for use in an enzyme immunoassay, enzyme linked immunosorbent assay, immunoenzymometric assay or immunoperoxidase assays is stabilized to substantially reduce substrate drift. This is achieved by the addition of a chelating agent in an amount effective to substantially prevent nonenzymatic oxidation of the substrate or chromogen.

Une solution comprenant un chromogène ou un substrat s'utilisant dans des immunoanalyses enzymatiques, des analyses d'immunosorption liées à une enzyme, des analyses immunoenzymométriques ou des analyses d'immunopéroxydase est stabilisée pour réduire sensiblement la dérive du substrat. Ceci est obtenu en ajoutant un agent de chélation en une quantité effective pour empêcher sensiblement l'oxydation non enzymatique du substrat ou chromogène.
