1. Extensible laundry dryer with two telescopic arms composed of a plurality of sliding members constituted by rectangular box sections, and by a plurality of laundry bars which extend between the two telescopic arms, there being provided, on each of the sliding members of the telescopic arms, a respective journal disposed on one wall of the box and serving to receive one end of a laundry bar, and a respective slot, with the result that when the telescopic arms are collapsed the respective laundry bar of the preceding sliding member enters the slot, characterised in that there is provided a cap (39) which extends between the two telescopic arms (1, 2), is substantially L-shaped in cross-section, and is swivellably suspended on the two rearmost, wallside sliding members (3, 10), with the result that when the telescopic arms (1, 2) are not, or only partly, extended it covers the unused laundry bars (31) in the vicinity of the slots (33) of the rearmost, wallside sliding members (3, 10).

Der Wäschetrockner besitzt zwei teleskopartig ausziehbare Arme (1,2), die aus einer Mehrzahl von Schiebern (3-9 bzw. 10-16) zusammengesetzt sind. Zwischen zwei gegenüberliegenden Schiebern erstreckt sich je ein Wäschestab (31). Damit unbenutzte Wäschestäbe (31) genen Verschmutzung gesichert sind, ist eine schwenkbar gelagerte Haube (39) vorgesehen, die die eingefahrenen Wäschestäbe (31) abdeckt. Die vorzugsweise aus L-förmig abgekantetem Aluminiumblech bestehende Haube (39) bildet zudem mit ihrem vorderseitigen Schenkel (41) einen Anschlag für den vordersten, nicht benutzten Wäschestab (31), so dass ein genau definiertes, teilweises Herausziehen der beiden Teleskoparme (1,2) gewährleistet ist.
