Abstract (en)
A method for injecting a treating liquid into a woody material (1) to be treated, which comprises subjecting the woody material (1) to a first pressure reducing treatment (a) in the presence or absence of the treating liquor in a receptacle (2) capable of being maintained at reduced or elevated pressure, and thereafter subjecting it to a second pressure reducing treatment via a wood piece contained in filter units (F) while the woody material is immersed in the treating liquor and pressure is applied thereto, and an apparatus for injecting the treating liquor into the woody material in accordance with the method described above.
